Why Be A Bully?

What does it matter how much you weigh, how tall you are, how your hair looks, or even how you dress? Why do people have to get picked on because of their uniquness. I see it all the time in the hallways and i am quilty of it myself sometimes. Walking through the hallways at school, most of the time you hear "hey fatass" or "hey fagget". Is that nessicary to be making fun of someone? Sometimes to you, it may seem like a joke, meanwhile it is killing the other person on the inside.

 I say this because i know how it feels to get picked on. In grade 6, just say i wasnt the skiiniest kid. I got picked on once in a while because i was big. It made me feel like complete shit. When this happened, it changed my life. I was now determind to start eating healthy and workingout everyday. Being bullied is the worst feeling in the world and noone deserves that pain. Put yourself in another persons shoes. Who knows what could possibly be going on in their life that could already be causing depression. On top of the situation their battling at home, they have to worry about being bullied everywhere they go. And whats the purpose of it? Is it to make yourself feel better? To make your friends laugh? How would you feel if you were the one that killed that other person? You bullied them so much that they couldn't take it anymore. The person decided to take their life away. As you read this your probably saying "oh noones kills themselves because of bullies". Reality check, your wrong. There have been so many deaths because of gay, lesbian or bisexual people getting bullied. How would you feel if you were a cause in that death? I wouldn't feel too great. Don't be a coward. If you see someone being bullied, step in and do something. You never know, you may save their life. 

Its sad to see how bad people great one another in today's society. The way people talk to each other is ridiculous. If you walk through the halls at school, I can guarantee you that you will hear more swearing then proper grammar. I am guilty of this too and i am trying to stop. 

Don't be that person that picks on another because their unique. You have no clue what they are going through. Take a walk in their shoes.
