Practice
Practice makes perfect. There are not many things you can be good at without practice. Sure its boring, annoying, tiring, and very time consuming, but success comes with practice. It is the only way you will be successful in anything you do. How do you think professional athletes or movie stars become professional? They practice and practice until they get it right. I am telling you this because as active as I am, I am actually very lazy. I don't like to practice and I am too lazy to do so. I know many other people could say that they are the same way, but why? I love to play hockey games, or play the trumpet, but how will i ever be great instead of good if i don't practice. Time to be honest. I never give it my all in hockey practice, and I could not tell you the last time i picked up my trumpet to practice. Is it because I am lazy? Or maybe because I do not have time? Is it hard to balance sports, school and many other things that you are doing, but what does it take to go outside and practice for half an hour. If you are not lazy to hang out with you're friends and such, you cannot be lazy to go outside for half an hour. Wether you are playing a sport, playing an instrument, or even learning a new lesson at school, the only way you become good at it is practicing. I say these things because people do not actually realize how beneficial even twenty minutes of practice can be. Most people just look at practice as boring and stupid. Just remember, never give up, because with practice comes success.
